WHO WE ARE

Wanita Bethel Indonesia

Wanita Bethel Indonesia is a Women's Department within the Synod of Gereja Bethel Indonesia, committed to serve women in various aspects of their lives, including family, Church, and the community. Since the late 1970s, Wanita Bethel Indonesia has been recognized as a platform for women's ministry within the Synod of Gereja Bethel Indonesia.

Over the years, the Women's Department of GBI has continuously restructured itself to provide better services to all women within the organization. Until now, several Women's Congresses of Bethel Indonesia have been held, where women from various regions and countries gather to collectively discuss and plan programs for a specific period.

Rev. Dr. Rubin Adi Abraham, who served as the Chiefperson of the Gereja Bethel Indonesia Synod from 2019 to 2023 has been re-elected to serve and lead the Synod of Gereja Bethel Indonesia 2023 to 2027 term. In contrast, the GBI Women's Department held a Handover Ceremony on September 25, 2023. Rev. Dr. Eunike Stephanie Mesach concluded her leadership position for the 2019-2023 term, and Rev. Silfani Tanonggi, S PAK was welcomed as the new Chairperson of the Central Board for GBI Women’s Department for the 2023-2027 term.

WBI North America

Within the same month of September 2023, Pdt. Biworo Adinata who serves as the Chiefperson of BPLN North America has established Women’s Department among other departments to be the Central Board of all Women's ministry of GBI in the North America covering the United Sstates and Canada.

Taking charge of Women's Department North America is Pdp. Victoria Ira Setlight Palandi, the wife of Pdt. Harry Palandi who both are the Pastors of Bethel International Church Philadelphia.

Pastor Victoria's unwavering dedication has been instrumental in the establishment of Women’s Department North America which is also known as Wanita Bethel Indonesia North America, a collective effort that involved a team of individuals. She extended an invitation to six Pastor wives and seven church associates from various regions of GBI in the US and Canada, uniting them in the organization board for WBI North America 2023 - 2027..

The Board

Throughout the years, countless initiatives have been devised, advocated for, and put into action in order to manifest the vision of Wanita Bethel Indonesia through out the globe. Many women have come to repentance and are set free to experience the Love of God and victorious life. May all these endeavors solely serve to magnify and glorify the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
